Ophelia and Cats...
I was initially going to take pictures of my outfits these last couple days, but sadly I was unable to because I was distracted by these skirts. ( Actually, there were some undesirable weather and an unwilling father but I digress.)
The first skirt was from Jean-Charles de Castlebajac's Fall Ready to Wear Collection and I instantly fell in love with it. Castlebajac used Sir John Everett Millais's 'Ophelia' as the print. Castlebajac also used the print on several different items, including a pleated dress and a jacket.
Two words to describe this skirt : ethereal and beautiful.
The second skirt is from an online store called Possible Worlds Clothing and isn't it just fantastic? The skirt is called the Cat Galaxy Skirt and is priced at $87. On the website, it states that the skirt is made out of "high quality 100% polyester that feels like a very soft and heavy cotton." As of now, I haven't bought the skirt but I am definitely admiring it from afar. It's just so strange and quirky that I cannot get enough of it. The website also sells other skirts but this one is my favorite by far.
